Sigh
So, yesterday on the way to school, I got a speeding ticket. Really, not just "on the way" to school. Right in front of the school. So lots of teachers and some of my students saw me and asked about it. Sigh. I was actually quite calm about it, though, so I guess I'm mature, or cynical. One of my students asked me, "No le da verguenza?" (Wasn't it embarrassing?) and I said, "Un poco," which was actually true. I really wasn't distraught. But there goes $120. Oh well.
My penance was that today I was stuck behind an SUV going 10 mph under the speed limit. (Except for ocasionally only 5 under, and at one point 20 under) I hate 33!
