A foggy, foggy day

On Saturday, I was walking around my GED class when it suddenly occurred to me that I was walking more or less normally! I now can amble around pretty normally, except when I overdo it and my foot hurts. Even more exciting, my right knee seems to have remembered how to bend, so I can go down stairs almost like a normal person! (Not quite - I still generally grip the hand rail like it's life or death because my knee hasn't decided to be quite consistent yet...) But that means I can walk down the stairs easily instead of having to two-foot every step really fast trying to keep up with my class going to the library. (And putting two feet on every step was particularly infuriating at the middle school because the steps are so shallow, but I just couldn't do it normally before!)

Also...now have working dishwasher. Yay!

Also...today was really foggy. Some schools closed. We had a three hour delay, which ended up meaning I had no students, because the middle school day started after all my classes were done, and I had to go to a new teacher meeting before my high school classes started, so they had a sub. Talk about easing into the week. And it's Tuesday! If every day was like this, well, I wouldn't be a teacher, and it would be boring. However, I really appreciated the unexpected extra prep time, because it gave me time to do lots of little administrative-type things that I hadn't had time to do before and had been stressing me out. Now my rooms are more organized and all my grades are in the computer. It's great!
